Are public meetings needed on the results of the forestry survey?
The Department of Natural Resources has cancelled eight of nine meetings scheduled to discuss forestry in New Brunswick.
The meetings had been set up to discuss home equity loans payday loan student loan consolidation results of a government-commissioned survey that was released on Feb. 26.
The 2007 mail survey included 1,500 respondents, of whom approximately 57 per cent said the forest industry has too much control of forest management in the province.
