That Baby Shower Idea
Just a small post for you today. Our friend had a birthday party this weekend for their 2 year old. But, as usual, the families that go to that kind of thing also have little tiny babies too. You forget what little babies are like when you are not around them for a while. Seriously though, little tiny babies are totally cool.
They are fun to watch as they move through the world. As your own kids grow up, you almost block out part of life when they were so attached to you. So it’s fun to see this again when visiting with new parents. Don’t misunderstand. I’m not saying I want to go back or anything. Those early days were really hard. I’m just commenting on how fun it was to think back to those early days with baby. Don’t worry new parents, it gets easier. But don’t wish for it to go too fast because you will miss it.
